Gargoyle Dolls Base

so... there was a period for a while that I had a lot of requests for drawing Gargoyles. This was generally from folks who weren't as artistically inclined... so I wanted to make something that folks could use to make their own and maybe not be so artistically inclined and only have paint or another simple program. So... if folks are interested, do they want me to make a simple paint tutorial?

you're welcome to use, feel free to mix and match as you choose. Please link back to this to credit the base.
As far as more options of hair and horns, I decided there were too many to do, so as I do some of my OCs I'll probably add up some extras as I go. I've already done a ridged-feathered wings.

I worked on this all at work with Paint... Hopefully this is useful or someone has fun with them.... if not, whatever.

(yes, I like making gargoyles looking like they are hovering with relaxed wings, so sue me)

I chose gray as the base color because I thought it would be the easiest to customize. And blonde for the hair seemed like a good contrast. I went with the two-color shading system because 1: it would be easier for folks to recolor to whatever color you want, and 2: that's what the cartoon used anyway.

update 1/30/12: fixed some mistakes
update 7/04/2013: compiled into a giant file with a couple different body type options, simplification of the outfits, adding the desdemona wings and various horns and hair I've been messing with. everything from this one: [link] so it's just this file and the naga ones are still here: [link]
