Troll the ancient Yuletide carol

Hmm, I was thinking that every year I'd do something for kinda a fandom-y Christmas. But looking through it looks like I've only done it a couple of times.

So this year I was thinking about doing more Kirbies for Christmas but the line "Troll the Ancient Yuletide Carol" kept sticking in my head. So... that is why they are singing carols, I wanted to do a nod to 's april fool prank this year, lol!

So these guys are just the fandoms I was into this year. Well, not all of them of course. Hmm, if I wanted to include the only novel I read this year I should have included something for Persuasion.

Henry Foss: The only reason I'm watching sanctuary this season. Tho I do like banterous the-five episodes, I just don't like the episodes that are only Magus, kill off adorable werewolves and make my department of the government sound evil
The Magic School Bus: I can't seem to be able to get away from this fandom
Murdock from the A-Team: I think it was early this year our roomies sat us down and made us watch the new movie, which I thoroughly enjoyed. My sister then went and watched a lot of the old TV show on hulu for quite a while. Then we dressed up as the A-Team for Halloween
Gavin Troy: I figured it would be hard no matter what to draw him, make him look recognizable and still try to keep a consistent cartoon style... oh well, but here's Troy from Midsomer Murders, my sister's latest crime drama we've been watching on netflix.
Sokka from Avatar: I first watched the whole Avatar series in 2010, but I believe I watched it all again early this year. And I'll watch it again next year! muahahah
Tom Servo: We're still watching MST3K movies, but slower because we're distracted by these other netflix things.

Rapunzel: yeah, I know that movie came out last year but I needed something Disney in here and she's the most recent.
Kensi and Deeks: Not my NCIS OTP but my newest one... probably my very most recent ship, hehehe banter ftw!
Ulfsark: yes, that's supposed to be an Ulfsark ala Age of Mythology. My sister and I play it all the time, probably time something ended up in fanart. I'll explain the reason he's holding a sledge hammer in a bit.
Buzz/Jessie: yes yes Toy Story 3 came out last year, but it's still stayed one of my favorite ships this year! I blame
The Doctor is in the back because I've probably seen more Dr. Who episodes this year than any previously but it's still no more than a dozen and still not in order, lol!
Oh yeah, an a couple angry birds singing happily above the group.

The reason for the sledge hammer: I drew most of this during a long boring awards ceremony at work. I was far enough back I drew opening so several of my co-workers saw me drawing. I explained to my co-worker next to me how I got the idea from "Troll the ancient..." and that I wanted to draw several characters singing and a troll in the background presumably singing very loudly and very poorly. Anyway, she suggested that for the line "Deck the halls" someone should have a sledge hammer ready to deck in some walls. So, that is why the ulfsark is carrying a sledge hammer instead of an axe.

Oh yeah, and the reason this looks so weird: I colored it with my sister's tablet. It's my first time using a tablet, so clearly I'm going to need practice, give me time!

Next year let's hope I do some sort of Fandom for the holidays thing again.
