Description
A long time ago I decided I needed to redo the Scar I did as a gargoyle:
But it was really 's encouragement that got me to finally get it done!
What I wanted to change: get rid of the odd midriff thing with his outfit and just give him a standard gargoyle loin-cloth (with a fun African pattern, again based on the Lion King on Broadway costumes I love so much!) and also make him sexier, hahaha!
I like the "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" scene where he picks up the skull, kinda reminds us that there's some Hamlet in this story
you know what I didn't notice until I was looking up the references on my new lion king dvd? that skull belongs to a carnivore. As a kid I had always assumed it was an antelope or zebra skull or something... lower on the food chain and thus a past dinner. O_o
my previous Lion King-Gargoyles with inspirations from Lion King on Broadway:
(Nala and Simba, almost redos of the previous ones, but more like the cartoon)
