One Dance - TLM Gargs

Look! Another Disney Prince/ss as Gargoyles! and guess what? it's the last one. the ONLY reason I still had motivation to do this one is because of the song that it's based on. [link] Whenever I'd hear that song come up on my mp3 player it renewed my desire to work on it. So this will be the last. I started sketches of 3 more gargoyle prince/ss reunion scenes and it just wasn't happening.
There was one thing I had to change, I made her outfit purple but then realized the song said she was dressed in white, which is very fitting, very moonlightesque, so that's how I ended up with the over-dress thing O_o

This was also a practice for me. The characters I colored with my usual style (maybe a bit sloppier than usual actually, drawn by hand, inked, multiplied over a colored layer) but I had fun with the rest. The clouds came from this project I made: [link] where I just painted the clouds from a reference.

I had trouble making it look like they were standing in water and not weird fog, sorry it didn't turn out real well, but these water brushes helped - by ~redheadstock

alas, not quite how I pictured it but hopefully was good practice.
