Ok... I'll upload a larger version when I know Kess has this version for MGC... and I'll clean up the text.
Usually I don't have a problem with staying up when I should be going to sleep, be occasionally, if right before bed I start drawing, time (and sleep) will get away from me. MeGarg on the other hand doesn't have a choice about when she turns to stone.
This is a redo of [link] from 5 years ago, some things about me have changes (like >=20lbs) and somethings are the same. The main thing tha bothers me about that old one is the picture of the boyfriend... who I think I broke up with a few months later. I've had two boyfriends since. I'm creeped out by looking at how much I worshiped him back then... geez... I needed to get a grip. If he ever reads this, I am so sorry I was obsessive and creepy, I hope I have matured and gotten less creepy since then, good luck with your life and take comfort in the fact that I think of you very rarely now.
This is a look at my apartment I just moved out of, it's my living room. my new apartment I'm with my sister and we have our computers in our bedrooms. So now the only thing in the living room is the couch, the keyboard... we've got the little TV on top of a bookshelf right now.
Left to right basically... by the computer I have DVDs propped up, they are supposed to read Harry Potter 5 and Land Before Time. I also have the Gargoyles DVDs and have since gotten some 70s-80s Jane Austen movies on DVd. that my MP3 player connected at the back. On top is supposed to be some game CDRoms... I think they are AgeOfMythology, Starcraft, fullThrottle, Dig... not sure what the one with the cube is. Under my computer are fictional books. In my original MGC artists as gargoyle submission [link] I included textbooks to represent what I was studying in school. I'm now graduated and working... but still learning. Asp.net and SQL are the ones I can read now, can't remember what the other one said. but my biggest learning resource is Google (on the right monitor). I have windows movie maker on the left, I'm glad my sister was able to guess that. On top of the computer is a lawn-ornament turtle. Next is the little TV (with VCR, I used to mostly just use it to watch stuff while doing dishes... we'll see if I do that much in my new apartment). It's on top of a plant stand I'm sure I bought from lowe's. Behind the TV on the floor are VHS's. Much Ado (about nothing) Sense and Sensibility (2008) Mulan, Disney's Atlantis, are some of my favorite movies to watch over and over. behind that is papers/junk/milkcrates for... you know... realism.
The piano is new. and I don't have a bench for it... I think I've got a stool that'll work, we'll see. The music books include Pride and Prejudice, Star Wars (actually I lost that book) John Williams, Movie Scores by Goldsmith, Horner, and I can't read the rest right now.
The Calendar on the wall has the DC temple... I don't really have a calendar like that, the one I have is from an insurrance company
the family photo I don't really have either. But it has my mom, dad, me and my sister looking like we're fic (tho RD didn't have glasses then), my brother, his wife, and their son at their current ages. if stickfigures have ages that is.
On my real couch I have a white teddy bear. My Qui-Gon and Marvin plushies are actually at work on my desk. And alas, I don't have teh pretteh (his name is Tuxedo, but I always say "pretty!" when I see him, cuz he is pretty. I also call him "kitty!" and then the other cat which doesn't like me as much I call "other kitty!". They are my parent's cats. but Tux is my kitty even tho I don't see him as much and every time he makes me sneeze.
On the floor in front of the door is supposed to be my purse... maybe my coat, and my ID for work... yes, only I could figure that from those lines. Most of the "action figures" surrounding megarg are fictional. actually, the only one that isn't fictional is probably the B'Elanna. The magazine is supposed to be a costume magazine that I use for reference for outfits. there's a T3-M4, mckay and weir figures, that's suppsoed to be an Athena Goa'uld behind them. The chick with the whimpy gun is suppsoed to be Magnus from Sanctuary... but mayhe I'll change her to Ashley, she might be easier to represent. a MLP (no, I don't actually have any, but they'd be fun to mod if I did). prismacolor pencils... a blank page of a sketchbook since she doesn't know what to draw, demona/macbeth action figures (in my dreams!), ron/hermione figrues, Tom/B'Elanna figures, and a magic school bus
Oh, and I really did sit like that pretty much the whole time while drawing this... only it was usually on my bed, not in the living room.
