Alan Menken

I know it's been a while since I did a composer collage, but I got the inspiration when someone on Facebook asked me to do a Howard Shore collage. Then I remembered I wanted to do an Alan Silvestri collage... and in the mean time, I did Alan Menken. Here's Menken, The Guy who wrote the music for Disney's great musicals (with the exception that Lion King's score music was done by Hans Zimmer and Mulan's score music was done by Jerry Goldsmith)

Aladdin (all the music is great!), Little Mermaid (Especially love "Part of your World Reprise"), Hercules (My love is all for "Go the Distance"!) Pocahontas (Especially love "Steady as a Beating Drum", well all of it!), Beauty and The Beast (Love the opening sequence with the stain glass) and I threw in a Notre Dame for Hunchback even though I didn't really like that movie.

Update Sept and Oct 2011: 5 years later, I decided I wanted to add the two new ones of his that I love so much! Enchanted and Tangled. The lanterns didn't turn out so hot... I'm really bad at doing light things in a dark area... like stars. But knowing that my art style had changed so much, I decided not to make the transition to the new movies seamless, since it wouldn't be anyway.
